Funding

Sheds get funding from diverse sources.

Very often, local Councils provide critical non-cash support, such as use of buildings.

Some state governments provide funding to state associations, though this is usually to run programs not to give grants to individual Sheds.

The Federal Government program of grants to individual Sheds is administered by AMSA and open to all Sheds whether members or not.

Service Clubs especially Rotary have a history of supporting Sheds.

Many small grants from multiple sources are pursued by Sheds, with some degree of success.

In WA, Lotterwest is a major source of grant funds to Sheds.

Most Sheds have fundraising campaigns of their own.

CAMSA plans a national project to help Sheds develop their own fund raising capacity and your input, suggestions or even volunteer time is welcomed. Please contact us.
